This kit is for replacing the complete thermostat housing assembly. All parts are new OEM Ford & Motorcraft items. The kit includes the following:
- Upper thermostat housing or water neck
- Lower thermostat housing
- Lower gasket/o-ring for mounting lower housing to engine
- Thermostat
- Thermostat o-ring
- ECT sensor with o-ring
- Sensor clip

Bypass rubber hose that mounts from lower housing to water pump

Bolts (3) for mounting the upper housing to the lower housing

Bolts (3) for mounting the lower housing to the engine
2002 2003 2004 2005 Ford Explorer 4dr 4.0 SOHC (build date between 11-13-2000 to 07-19-2005) with ONE sensor in the housing
2002 2003 2004 2005 Mercury Mountaineer 4dr 4.0 SOHC (build date between 11-13-2000 to 07-19-2005) with ONE sensor in the housing
*This kit is not for any Sport Trac or two door Explorer Sports models.
